Delivering a new build sixth form extension to this prestigious school.
The new sixth form centre provides much needed space for the schools sixth form students. The new block includes classrooms, study space, communal areas, a well-being room and two presentation rooms for the students to develop their soft skills.
The project was delivered within a live school environment. We kept the safety of the school’s staff, students and visitors at the forefront whilst ensuring that disruption was kept to a minimum. This included regular liaison with the school, management of works during key school events such as exams and restrictions on traffic and delivery times and routes.
Interface between Francis Construction and the school has been a crucial part of this exciting educational scheme. Our Project Manager developed an excellent relationship with the school. He worked closely with the school and hosted site tours including an event where over 20 pupils, 20 parents and 15 members of staff were given a tour of the site with our Project Manager presenting project and progress updates.
This project was completed in the summer of 2022 ready for the new school year starting in September.
