Delivering a new sports pavilion facility with a cafe and function hall for the local community in Bracknell.

This scheme comprised of the demolition of the existing pavilion, with casting strip foundations and steels forming the superstructure for the new design.

With an internal gloor area of 450m2, the new sports pavilion, café and function hall provides fully accessible, flexible and updated space facilities alongside improvements to the children’s play area and outdoor space, with landscaping and a water feature. The existing bowls club has also benefitted from a new extension as part of the scheme.

The construction features masonry cavity walls with Cedar cladding. Internally the new building benefits from energy-efficient underfloor heating, with modern wash rooms and changing facilities.

As a member of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, Francis Construction were mindful of local residents, using the quietest machinery at their disposal during the build programme.
