Bradfield College have undertaken a number of renovation and new build projects in order to transform the campus at Bradfield in Reading.
As part of the cycle of boarding house refurbishments, Faulkner’s boarding house had a complete refit and redecoration as the College continued to provide top class modern boarding facilities – improving the social and communal spaces in order to bring people together and build a sense of community.
The project comprised a single storey extension and reconfiguration of the existing space to provide a new open plan common room and study areas. Works included all new finishes, flooring and feature joinery. The existing three storey building remained fully occupied throughout the duration of the construction works, with close liaison with Bradfield College staff, students and professional team during the construction programme.
The project was delivered on time and within budget.
