The early engagement saw us involved in the detailed design development and value engineering of this new build and barn conversion scheme, creating nine character houses within this picturesque, mainly stone built village, with views across water meadows to the Oxford Colleges.
In keeping with the surrounding locale, materials included the use of local stone, and built by our own skilled bricklayers. Roofs are formed in tile and slate to match existing dwellings. Elevations are finished in stone, brick, with tile hanging and weather-boarding. High levels of energy-saving insulation were installed.
Internally, modern heating and electrical services have been installed, with energy efficient hot water systems and condensing boilers. High quality kitchens and en-suites are designed and fitted to a contemporary cottage style.
Externally, pavior set roads and parking areas are complementednby neg.w tree and shrub planting.
