The Society gives awards in recognition and to encourage building and environmental projects that make a positive contribution to the local community in the Borough of Ealing.
On 17 October, udring ceremony at Open Ealing, winners of Ealing Civic Society’s award scheme received certificates from Alice Lester MBE, Director for Regeneration, Growth and Employment, Brent Council. This year there were three projects that received commendations, including our project, Havelock Primary School ARP (Additional Resource Provision).
It was recognised for its ability to provide additional resources to the children with special needs, which support their integration into the wider school community. The judges acknowledged that the provision delivered the principles of ARP well, and were impressed with the integration of inside and outside spaces and newly renovated sensory garden.
