Refurbishment to commercial building to provide veterinary facilities.

Client:

Cedar Vets

Albany House has remained unused for the last five years, prior to that the building was occupied as a call centre. We are appointed by Cedar Vets to refurbish the old building into a new veterinary practice to accomodate the growth of Cedar Vets.

The new veterinary practice provides a reception area with a separate dog waiting room, five consultation rooms, three theatres, a dog ward, a cat ward, a pharmacy, dental facility rooms, a CT scanner room, X-Ray rooms and associated office and plant accommodation.

The upstairs is split between Cedar Vets and their tenant. The Cedar Vets provision upstairs includes Laboratory space, kitchenette, laundry room, three separate offices, meeting room and a staff room. Extensive M&E improvement works were carried out to the upstairs accommodation with existing cable cabinets being reused where possible to minimise waste and improve on cost.

This refurbishment project formed an important part of Cedar Vets ten year plan. Enabling them their veterinary accommodation upstairs as the business grows. Adding value to our client through further flexibility for business expansion.
