The comprehensive redevelopment of a 1.5 Hectare Brownfield site formerly used as a brickworks, including dealing with varying ground conditions and isolated contamination.

Phase 1 involved the design and build of a 55 apartment Frail Elderly Unit. Construction was in traditional brick and block cavity walling, with high insulation values in roofing, windows and walls to reduce running costs. Francis Construction was involved in a large number of value engineering and sustainability measures to provide best value to the clients.

Phase 2 was the construction of 25 two bedroom Retirement Homes.

Phase 3 was a mixed residential scheme of 34 Houses and Flats.
