New build and barn conversion to form 9 character houses in this picturesque, mainly stone built village with views across watermeadows to the Oxford Colleges. The new build has been carried out in keeping with the village, using local stone, built by our own skilled bricklayers. Roofs are formed in tile and slate to match existing. Elevations are finished in stone, brick, tile hanging and weatherboarding. Kitchen and bathrooms are contemporary to the cottage style.
High-levels of energy saving insulation were installed. Internally, modern heating and electrical services have been installed, with energy efficient hot water systems and condensing boilers. Externally pavior sett roads and parking areas are complimented by new tree and shrub planting.
Francis Construction were responsible for detailed design development and value engineering the scheme.
