A new build Medical Centre to replace local facilities, which had become oversubscribed, as part of a large new riverside redevelopment of Houses, Apartments and Social Housing forming a new community by the Thames.

The three storey construction rested on piled foundations, with a steel frame and pre-cast flooring units. The roof was formed in timber trusses with dormer windows and tile roofing.

The external elevations were built in London stock bricks with reconstructed stone band courses and window mullions. Internally consulting and treatment rooms were formed, serviced by Mechanical and Electrical services incorporating the most effective energy saving equipment. The reception desk, counters and screens were all built and installed by our joinery workshops. External car parking and landscaping completed the project.
